An Afternoon With Zinger!
Young Life Manatee County is proud and excited to partner with one of the most knowledgeable and colorful personalities in golf, Paul Azinger, for an afternoon that will benefit Young Life's work with teenagers.
Paul will host a golf clinic out on the driving range where he will give tips and wisdom on how to improve your game and make golf the enjoyable game it was meant to be.
We will then move inside to hear some stories from Paul's decorated career, including the United States' historic Ryder Cup win in 2008 of which he was the captain. There will be a time for questions and answers and great golf conversation.
Paul and his family have been involved in Young Life of Manatee County for many years and invite you to attend a great event that will help a great cause.
Paul is a 12-time PGA Tour winner and Major Champion (1993 PGA Champion at Inverness). Azinger courageously battled cancer in the prime of his career, returned to the tour to win the Ben Hogan award and eventually the winner’s circle at the Sony Open. Azinger’s greatest accomplishment on the course was leading the 2008 US Ryder Cup team as Captain to a decisive victory at Valhalla. His innovative strategy is chronicled in “Cracking the Code.” Azinger created the bestselling “Golfplan” iPhone app along with Shotzoom that has revolutionized golf lessons for the mobile generation. He is currently the lead golf analyst for ESPN. Off the course, Paul is an avid fisherman, World Series of Poker participant, and a sports car and motorcycle enthusiast.
